If you are in Delhi these days, you may want to check out the summer theatre festival organized by the National School of Drama. It has an extensive repertoire of plays that are shown throughout the year.

Some of the plays to be shown in the festival include Begum Ka Takia, Chekhov ki Duniya, Blood Wedding, Hamara Shahar Us Baras, Jaat Hi Poochho Sadhu Ki, among others.

  • The first act is the Protasis, or exposition.
  • The second act is the Epitasis, or complication.
  • The final act is the Catastrophe, or resolution.
Four more ideas: Conflict, Characters, Dialogue, Distinction, Existence, Show Not Tell: It is much better to show something rather than telling.
