Mrs. Neelam K. Kumar is an Electronics Engineer, MIEEE Communications Society & MIEEE Computer Society.

She is a consummate professional with more than three decades of experience in electronics:manufacturing, information technology and marketing. As Executive Director on the board of Aplab Ltd., she was responsible for profitable functioning and business growth for the Power Controls & Conversion Division, Test and Measurement Division and educational export division which also handled export production for Philip Harris UK Products manufactured in India.

In her long and distinguished career in some of the leading manufacturing firms in India, she has been associated with niche and cutting-edge technology areas such as audio mixing products for exports,,power control and conversion projects for the Ministry of Defence, customized project production in companies including L&T, TPCL, ECIL, BEL et al. She has streamlined workflows for the Educational T&M Exports Division as well as heading the IT / ERP functioning of the company.

Mrs. Kumar has been recognized for her exemplary leadership, people management skills and ability to achieve quick turnarounds in a very short span of time by Indian as well as various foreign customers in diverse geographies.

In the year 2006, She was invited to present a thought provoking research paper on “The Human Side of Globalization” at IEMC2006, an annual event of the IEEE Engineering Management Society in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

She has convened international forums such as the India International Conferences on Power Electronics in 2002 and 2004 very successfully. These were co-sponsored by IEEE USA, IIT Mumbai, IIT Delhi respectively.

Her attention to detail, integrity, humility, hard work and commitment has been recognized by leading industry magazines, and she has received accolades including a listing in the “World’s Top 500 Engineers” as well as recognition as one of “The Top 50 Women Achievers ” by the Hindujas.
